Privacy policy
For ClearCode. In effect since 17 August 2026.
The short version: we collect your email address, and what you ordered if you bought something. We never sell your data. You can ask us to delete it at any time by emailing [email protected].
Who holds your data
ClearCode is operated by Merlolabs, which is the company responsible for the information collected here.
What we collect
- Your email address, when you join the list, buy something, or write to us.
- Your order — what you bought, when, and how much you paid. Card details go straight to our payment processor; we never see or store your card number.
- Basic visit counts — how many people saw a page. This is counted without cookies and without building a profile of you.
That is the whole list. We do not run advertising trackers and we do not buy data about you from anyone else.
What we do with it
- Send you what you bought, and the receipt for it.
- Answer your email.
- Send the emails you signed up for. Every one has an unsubscribe link that works.
- Count how the site is doing, so we know what to improve.
We do not sell your data, rent it, or hand it to advertisers. The only outside companies that see it are the ones that make the service run: payments, email delivery, and hosting. They are only allowed to use it to do that job.
How long we keep it
Order records are kept for as long as the tax rules require. Everything else is kept until you ask us to delete it, or until the list is closed.
Your choices
- Unsubscribe from any email using the link at the bottom of it.
- Ask for a copy of what we hold about you.
- Ask us to correct it, or to delete it.
Email [email protected] and we will do it. No form, no hoops.
Keeping it safe
Data is sent over an encrypted connection and stored on services that require a password and a key to reach. If something goes wrong and your information is exposed, we will tell you.
